In these terms and conditions (Terms), “we” “us” and “our” refers to Safe Food Services Ltd (NZCN 5963108) trading as Safe Food Services.

Your access to and use of all information on our website including purchase of our product(s) is provided subject to the Terms. Use of our website, whether to purchase our products or otherwise, constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy (available here).


  • All reasonable care and attention have been taken in the compilation, preparation, and delivery our eLearning online courses, inhouse training (workshops) and webinars. It is not intended to take the place of, or to represent, the materials contained in industry standards, regulations, codes of practices or associated Food Act 2014 legislation.
  • We disclaim all responsibility for any inaccuracy or technical inadequacy of information disclosed as part of the delivery of training services. Safe Food Services Ltd excludes itself from any liability, on any part, of persons choosing to rely on this information.

  • We either own the copyright or have the right to use all text and images published on this website, and its overall design.
  • All content included on the website, unless uploaded by users, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Safe Food Services Ltd. By continuing to use the website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable New Zealand and International intellectual property and other laws.
  • You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the website unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless given by our express written permission to do so.
  • Any dispute between the parties concerning this contract will be discussed between them in the spirit of goodwill with a view to a resolution. If the dispute cannot be resolved by the parties, either party may request that the dispute be referred to mediation, or arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996.

  • We may collect information from you through your use of our website when you request information from us or engage our services or purchase products and services.
  • By using any of our services, including our website, and providing us with any personal information, you are consenting to the use of your personal information as set out in this policy. Please do not send us any personal information if you do not want it to be used in this way.
  • Several areas on our website invite you to provide us with personal information. For example, your names and email address. The purpose of the information collection is apparent at the point that you provide your personal information.

Withdrawal Fee & Refund Policy

  • Facilitated Webinars / Workshop Training
    • Please note we reserve the right to cancel any webinar / course due to insufficient numbers or circumstances beyond our control. Clients will be notified of cancellation of webinars and/or training services as soon as possible. Following a cancellation, clients will be offered a refund or a transfer to another course. All refunds are credited in the manner they were originally paid.


  • We are in no way liable for any loss, damage, accident, or injury (whether to persons or property) incurred by the delegate during services provided. Both parties will endeavour to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and any other applicable legislation.

Special Requirements

  • The client will inform us, at the time of booking a public course (within ‘Any Additional Information’ of the Billing Details), if there are any special requirements needed to cater for trainees participating in the training events.
  • Special requirements include dietary requirements (if facilitated courses), assistance with reading, writing, language, disabilities, cultural needs etc.

Payment Options

  • Clients may opt to pay via online credit card payments or via invoice.
  • Clients who opt for ‘Invoice Me Please’ are required to indicate in the ‘Any Additional Information section of the Billing Details, if a PO number will be issued prior to an invoice being generated. PO numbers are required to be sent to karen.perry@sfs.co.nz. Any registration whereby this information is not provided, invoices will be directed to the registered trainee contact email or company address. Invoices are required to be paid within two weeks prior to attending any workshop and/or webinar.
  • Safe Food Services Ltd uses Stripe Software Commerce to accept online payments. Please refer to Stripes Privacy Terms and Conditions for further information on the service they provide Safe Food Services Ltd.
  • All online Credit Card payments are processed immediately through the Stripe e-commerce platform. Credit Card payments will generate an invoice and the card holder will be provided with this documentation noted as paid to their registered email address. A credit card fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Access to Safe Food Services Ltd Training Services

  • Payment of courses (eLearning / webinars / workshops) are required prior to access to our training services.
  • On receipt of credit card or invoice payment, the client will receive notification of purchase and instructions on how to access online content (eLearning, prerequisites to workshops, assessments) via our training portal. See webinars for further information about the registration process.


  • Due to the nature of online eLearning and immediate accessibility to course content, all payments of online courses from our website are final. If the Client experiences technical difficulties or errors in delivery of online content, please contact Safe Food Services directly to karen.perry@sfs.co.nz. Refunds of online courses are discretionary.


  • Webinar purchases are linked to the webinar registration forms which are required to be completed to secure a place.
  • Following registration, clients will receive notification of reserved seat at the webinar with association links to the webinar. Clients will receive an email reminder 2 days and 30 minutes prior to start time of the webinar. Each reminder will include a direct URL link to the webinar which can be viewed via your browser on any device.


  • Following initial payment of the Safe Food Services Ltd Training services Clients attending a workshop will have immediate access to online training material, prerequisites requirements and assessments. Access to training material will be granted for up to 4 weeks post workshop.
  • Access to training materials following this time will be revoked. It is at the discretion of Safe Food Services Ltd that access to course material is granted after this time.


Changes to our privacy policy

  • We may change this privacy policy from time to time in response to changes to technology, our data collection practices or the law.
